Ballando il Vento رقص للرياح

Engaging and daring, this vibrant duo takes you into their journey through music and storytelling. A meeting between two composers and improvisers, Italian cellist Irina Solinas and Palestinian oudist Huda Asfour walk the line between their respective classical musical training, producing music beyond genre and background. Huda and Irina met at the Global musicianship workshop, a Silkroad project flagship, held in 2017 in Indiana. In 2019, they held their first residency in Como, Italy. The result was a series of new compositions, and older ones brought to life anew in new arrangements for for oud and cello. Ballando il Vento
